He is not on every student’s list of “great names in type design.” Yet he has been in the business of making letters – be it with a brush, a pen, or a computer mouse – for decades, and has worked for some of the most innovative type companies, including Bitstream and Adobe.

For de som ikke kjenner Ray Larabie kan jeg fortelle at han er en særdeles produktiv fontdesigner, med en produksjon frem til nå på nesten 500 fontfamilier, fra gode antikvaskrifter til dekorative fantisiskrifter. Ray Larabie er utdannet innen dataanimasjon og videospill, men har hatt en glødende interesse for skrift helt fra barnsben av. Han er født i Canada, men er nå bosatt i Nagoya, Japan. Alle Larabies fonter kan sees og kjøpes/lastes ned på MyFonts.com og på Larabies eget nettsted LarabieFonts. Typografika has kindly been given the opportunity to make a very good selection of Ray Larabies free fonts, available for download directly from Typografikas downloads gallery. For those who do not know Ray Larabie I can tell that he is a very productive font designer, with a production of almost 500 font families up to now, from good serif fonts to decorative fantasy fonts. Ray Larabie is a graduate in computer animation and video games, but has had a fervent interest in fonts right from childhood. He was born in Canada, but is now living in Nagoya, Japan. All Larabies fonts can be viewed and purchased/downloaded from MyFonts.com and his personal site LarabieFonts.
